The Hangklip Heritage Trust is a local environmental trust which focuses on the preservation and conservation of the coastal zone of the Kogelberg from Rooi Els to the Botriver Estuary, Western Cape, South Africa.
The Trust aims to create a link between the core area of the Kogelberg Biosphere via the Buffer zone through to the sea. It is seeking to obtain these properties either by lease, donation or purchase.
The Trust sees itself as a network between private and corporate donors, local authorities and NGO's on the one hand and the conservation authorities on the other hand to strengthen nature conservation in the Kogelberg area.
